Honestly….

Of this last two weeks , I’ve attempted to go cycling 5 times.
Of those 5 attempts, I’ve actually gone cycling 4 times. Of these 4 times, I have been rained on for 4 times. All 4 actual attempts started fine but got progressively rainier – the 5th time I just didn’t go because it was bouncing off the road , it was raining so hard. Sheeesh!

Ok so many would argue I’m a fair weather cyclist, and I should just man up! but now it feels almost personal.

For example, working for 3 days in one week, I’ve got Tuesday and Thursday off. So how does it go?

Monday – in office, looking out the window at the sun and blue skies, wanting to go cycling…
Tuesday – off cycling? – pouring with rain – maybe not…
Wednesday – – in office, looking out the window at the sun and blue skies, wanting to go cycling…
Thursday – off cycling – got wet in the rain.
