Plucky girl that Davina….well done to her for completing the 7 day 500 mile triathlon from Edinburgh Scotland to London England to raise £730,000 (and growing) for the Sport Relief charity….good on you Davina!

NHS can save money if we cycle…like we didn’t know this?

Yeah okay – the issue is that various facts and statistics actually support the assertions that cyclist have had for ages. The Guardian seems to have created a bit of a splash with a report on how the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK could save £250M per annum if only 1 out of every 10 local journeys under 10 miles duration could be achieved on a bicycle instead of by car or bus…..(This report was also cited on the Cycling Scotland website amongst others….)

And yes ANOTHER report notes that even in the Big Smoke – cyclists (specifically Boris Bikes this time) will be healthier…jeez..no kidding?? No. apparently not.
