BBC Sport – Sir Chris Hoy hopes to compete at 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Ah – it’s both a great time and a sad time to be a cycling enthusiast in Scotland.

Great because cycling has never been so popular.

Sad because the professional level of cycling is still so caught up with doping and scandal – the loss of Armstrong as a hero is still being felt.

Here’s hoping that the opening of the Sir Chris Hoy velodrome in Glasgow will encourage more and better cycling in Scotland in the future…!

Ironic advertising? http://www.EPOboost.com showing on this post, must have picked up ‘doping’ as a positive tag…
