Tour de France tour-de-force

I am so excited about the British Cycling team and whats happening in the Tour de France this year….

Wiggo obtained, and has held on to, the yellow jersey now for 4 days…and a British rider is internationally known as the “favourite” to win.

Chris Froome’s form has at last been noticed by the world at large, as a result of his epic stage win and his hill climbing form when he outstripped the competition and even his own team leader until he throttled back a bit.

Mark Cavendish has been doing his thing on the sprints – as well as acting as drinks and food provider in his most obvious domestique role within the team yet. I expect we’ll see more of him yet….

and lastly, (so far), David Millar’s stage win. David has not long been accepted into the olympic cycling team because of his previous “doping” incident, but is now very much “clean” ambassador for the sport.
